Re Talk the talk and walk the walk letter, it would seem that Mr Bradley Thomas does not live in the real world - he sights the existence of facts that have been achieved despite the Labour Government, not with it's "assistance".

The deviousness, slight of hand and plain lies is the hallmarks of this Government. Taxes have been considerably increased, largely by stealth, in the hope that the populace would fail to recognise the Government's involvement.

Pensioners have been heavily hit by the withdrawal of tax recovery on share dividends, removal of tax concessions on private medical insurance, thereby putting more people into the under funded NHS, people who would have previously made their own medical arrangements. (They could have alternatively invested their 0.75p increase in health care!)

Couples have lost the married persons tax allowance and this from a government that supposedly supports marriage.

The major tax has hit the pension funds and the Government attempts to lay the blame on employers and the insurance companies, whereas the facts are that Gordon Brown is removing millions of pounds annually from pension funds and makes no mention that members of those funds need to increase their contributions by some 20% to compensate for his sinister tactics.

What does GB do this tax money mountain - spend it on transport, on the NHS, on improving pensions - No! - he sits on so that some time immediately before the next election it can be used to coerce the electorate into renewing their mandate. (Unless you are an asylum seeker, when you get instant support of course!)

Additionally the trade unions power and strikes are again rearing their irresponsible heads - a clone of Maggie Thatcher would be a godsend - at least she did what was necessary and was "up front" in word and deed.
