IT was beers for breakfast as hundreds packed pubs to watch England and Ireland's opening games in the World Cup over the jubilee weekend.
Excitement hit fever-pitch on Sunday morning as fans donned their replica kits to cheer on England in their opening game against Sweden. Railway Bell revellers are pictured cheering on England.
Among dozens of pubs granted licences to show the games live was the Railway Bell, Comberton Hill.
Landlord Bill Campbell, who has painted the pub's interior in patriotic red, white and blue, said: "It was a great atmosphere, everyone really enjoyed themselves.
"They weren't knocking back the beers while the game was on - they were more interested in our Beckham breakfast.
"But once the final whistle went people made up for it and enjoyed a few drinks."
