YOUNGSTERS at Wolverley's Alexander Patterson School have been given a permanent reminder of their jubilee celebrations.
The sun shone on Friday when they held a "street party" at the school, complete with face painting and a balloon launch, while a large cake was decorated with a design by successful competition entrant Stephen Reeve before being divided up, said head Marilyn Calvert. Stephen Reeve is pictured with his successful cake design.
And photographs were taken of all the children before being rushed off to be developed and presented to them in special frames to mark the occasion.
