HUNDREDS of helium balloons were sent soaring as pupils and staff at a Kidderminster school got the jubilee weekend off to a flying start.
Celebrations at Holy Trinity School included a "street party" in the school grounds, a crown parade, a sing-along, juggling and cycling from a circus act, savoury and sweet dishes and a giant Union Jack cake.
Every child and member of staff also received a commemorative mug.
