A TASTE of the past was served up to pupils to mark the royal occasion - and devoured with relish.
Kidderminster's Offmore First School marked the 50th anniversary of the Queen's accession with a jubilee sports day on Friday - complete with traditional favourites like egg and spoon races, sack races and relays. Catherine Preece, Michaela Salacinski, Lauren Dowd and Ryan Green are pictured during their jubilee sports day.
Parents and grandparents cheered on contestants, who were competing for a jubilee cup, and stayed for a picnic afterwards.
"It's been lovely," said headteacher Janet Wheeldon. "They all want to do it again!"
She added: "They've all been given a jubilee medal from the Parent Teacher Association with Offmore First School written on them."
