Around the corner in Vicar Street, cappuccinos and caffe lattes were helping to keep out the cool and the drizzle, while further down, the Sizzling Bull was giving customers the option of curry sauce with their chips.
Flying the flag for English tucker was The Olde Spit Roast which was doing a roaring trade with "hog".
