ELDERLY and disabled people did not miss out on the fun over the jubilee weekend.
Thirty six residents of Vawdrey Close, which contains sheltered accommodation in Areley Kings, Stourport, had an afternoon get-together on Saturday at Areley Kings Parish Rooms. Mary Hoban, Hazel Brown, Hazel Yates, Margaret Danby and Joyce Clarke celebrate at Areley Kings Parish Rooms.
They enjoyed some old-time favourite records, bingo, a raffle, dancing - and toasts to the Queen - after wardens and residents joined forces.
"It went very well," said Hazel Yates, 66, who was helping out. "Everybody's contributed."
