RECORD-breaking numbers enjoyed music in district parks as bands celebrated the jubilee with concerts in the open air.
About 300 people, including a host of families, enjoyed the West Mercia Constabulary Band in Brinton Park in Kidderminster on Sunday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Bewdley, was packed with folk of all ages for a concert by the Jazz Ramblers. Members of the Jazz Ramblers in Bewdley's Jubilee Gardens.
District council Events officer Sue Harper: "We have never had such numbers for our band concerts. The weather helped with the turnout and it bodes well for our forthcoming programme of concerts in July and August."
