A DAY centre is combining its golden jubilee celebrations with an open day to allow the public to see the work of Worcestershire County Council's social services centre.
Wyre Forest MP Dr Richard Taylor will be among guests at the Edward Parry Mental Heath Day Centre, Kidderminster, for its celebrations on Friday between 10.30am and 3pm.
There will be live music, a barbecue and a chance for people to see the services offered at the centre and the range of work undertaken by service users.
The centre offers activities for people with mental health issues, working with the community mental health team and Kidderminster Day Hospital.
