JON Burgess may produce as many twisted facts as he likes.

I understand that the Burns report to which he refers, is ambiguous in some respects, and can be interpreted in different ways according to the beliefs of the reader.

Rather than relying on this report, I prefer to believe the evidence of my own eyes when I witnessed 70-odd riders on massive horses, plus a pack of hounds, riding out to destroy one poor fox.

Imagine the terror that animal must have experienced before it was set upon, bitten to death and torn apart.

Do hunters cheer when this happens, Mr Burgess?

Incidentally, I am still awaiting an answer to my question as to whether the spectators at a hare-coursing event wager on the outcome of this disgusting spectacle.
