NO-ONE missed out on the jubilee celebrations as elderly and disabled people from across Wyre Forest got together last Monday.
William Bullock Close sheltered housing in Stourport threw a party for its residents and invited guests from Sion Gardens, also in Stourport, and Bewdley's Hornbeam House to join in the fun. Audrey Cox and Irene Unwin outside the sheltered housing complex in Stourport.
"It was absolutely fantastic. We had a great time," said William Bullock Close warden Audrey Cox. She added: "Myself and some other wardens did some 50s-style entertainment that we had rehearsed - jiving and rock and roll dancing.
"The food and drink was all there and the common room was decked out beautifully in red, white and blue.
"We had more than 70 people there and everybody enjoyed themselves."
