MOTOR RACING: Stourport motorbiker James Crumpton was just 20 seconds away from victory at the Isle of Man TT after leading for two laps.
Crumpton finished second behind fellow Great Britain ace Ian Lougher on his Honda in the ultra-lightweight 125cc section.
The speed king completed four laps of the famous road race in one hour 23 minutes 40 seconds for his best finish yet.
He was then invited to compete in the 250cc race yesterday, taking over from an injured rider.
Crumpton's mother Maureen said: "James was leading the race for two laps then one of the 400cc back markers got in his way and he lost 10 seconds.
"I went over to watch him race and he was over the moon with his result. First place was his aim but it wasn't to be."
