ONE of the works of best-selling author Terry Pratchett is coming to the Everyman stage in Cheltenham.
Truckers is a big production full of little people taking a fresh look at the world around us.
The tale for all the family is about a group of nomes (little people about four inches high), who live in the Arnold Bros department store.
Divided between the warring tribes, such as Haberdashers and the Ironmongri, they have to deal with monsters such as Prices Slashed and a goddess called Bargains Galore.
One day they discover the store is to be demolished and have to unite in a bid to find their way out before Arnold Bros comes crashing down around their ears.
Truckers is the first in Pratchett's Bromeliad trilogy and the stage adaptation features giant video screens, used for special effects and to recreate the world of the nomes.
The cast includes Terry Burns as Angalo, known for his role as Josh Matthews in the Channel 5 television show, Family Affairs.
