DEAR EDITOR - Since the decision was made to allow Liberty Construction to do remedial work on the culvert and reservoir wall at the Old Marlbrook Tip, recent inclement weather has seriously affected the section of Alvechurch Highway which leads to the tip entrance.
The road is now in an appalling state, grass verges have disappeared and the road is awash with mud.
The tip itself now attracts more lorries than tourists to the Grand Canyon.
The present situation begs the question - with such huge amounts of piled earth now on site, why further material is required?
