DEAR EDITOR - I would like to thank all the people of Bromsgrove who contributed towards the recent St John house to house and Flag Day collections held in the town, and apologise for any intrusion into their privacy.
St John Ambulance, like so many other organisations, rely entirely on public donations and once again the generosity of the Bromsgrove townsfolk has been tremendous, raising £777.99 and £629.87 respectively, much needed funds that will further the work of St John Ambulance in Bromsgrove.
New European regulations governing ambulances, will place a huge financial burden on this organisation, which is again funding additional training for its members, as well as upgrading many items of equipment and in many cases replacing vehicles within its fleet.
This money will start us on the road to achieving our goal.
