DELIGHT followed despair for Geoff Hands when the Chipping Campden sidecar racer tasted success in the Isle of Man.
Geoff's regular passenger, wife Ruth, suffered a broken leg and chest injuries in a crash at Mallory Park in March, but stand-in Andy Smith joined Geoff to take the flag in this year's Classic Sidecar TT.
The race was staged in perfect conditions with the duo leading from start to finish and winning with more than a minute to spare.
