THOUSANDS were united over the holiday weekend as they celebrated the Queen's Golden Jubilee in true Brit style - rain and all.
Bunting was out in force, Union flags were flying and young and old came together to mark the historic occasion.
Street parties, musical processions, fun days, flower festivals, concerts and special church services were just some of the events taking place in and around the town.
Despite the pouring rain on Monday morning, the spirit of jubilee revellers was not dampened and throughout the day and into the night the echoes of partying people could be heard.
Many people lit beacons at 10pm and scores of events ended with a bang as hundreds of fireworks illuminated the skies.
This week's Redditch Advertiser brings you five pages of photographs and details of the events, which will undoubtedly stay in people's memories forever.
