IT appears almost impossible for Consignia (Post Office) to lose so much money, and faith with their customers.

While on a housing estate the other day, I saw a mail van go up a drive to a house.

While he was delivering, another mail van came, had to wait for the first one to reverse out of the drive and then went to the same house.

Surely something is not being organised for this to happen.

A few years ago someone sent me a card from Inverness, posted at 6.50pm.

I received it the next morning at 7.30am. Now a letter takes three days (that is, if it arrives) to Hereford.

That's what they call first class post.

JOHN NORWOOD,
