YOUNG members of a Belbroughton Cricket Club have been left with nowhere to train after thieves stole £1,500 worth of equipment from the ground.
The incident happened at the Hackman's Gate Lane club between 10pm on Sunday May 26 and Monday May 27.
Chairman Richard Hadley said the offenders had cut down netting and made off with the poles that hold up the cricket nets.
He said: "It's a bit of a kick in the teeth.
"We're trying to go forward and get promoted.
"Our youth section is massive - and the kids have nowhere to practice now."
He said thieves had targeted the club in the past, last year a small JCB and an agricultural grass roller were stolen.
