IT'S been a busy time for Badsey CC's youth section but a successful one.
The Under-13s made it four wins out of four with a five-run victory over Bredon who made a respectable 232-2.
Openers Michael Powell and Jamie Anderson, as they have all season, gave Badsey a solid start.
Marcus Humpston then batted sensibly and Badsey's victory was completed by skipper and player of the match Nick Powell.
The club's Under-12s defeated Bidford last Friday by 28 runs after amassing 263-4 with player of the match Michael Powell top scoring.
In reply, Bidford put together a creditable reply of 235-10.
Marcus Humpston was the pick of the bowlers with 4-10.
The following morning, a depleted Under-12s side put together their best performance of the season in beating Alcester and Ragley by 53 runs.
Alcester batted first and struggled to 208-7. Spinner Steve Powell was the pick of the Badsey bowlers (2-4).
Badsey then batted with a maturity beyond their years with the highlight the running between the wickets. Humpston top scored and was named player of the match as his side recorded a fourth straight win.
