FAIRFIELD Villa Ladies triumphed against the odds to return from Penzance as champions at a two-day football festival.
Villa started as underdogs as the team from the lowest league but finished the competition unbeaten and having only conceded one goal.
On Saturday, May 25, Villa drew 0-0 with Swindon Town A and B before beating hosts Penzance 2-0 to qualify for Sunday's cup competition.
In their cup group they secured a 0-0 draw against Penzance, a 1-1 draw with Highbridge, from Somerset, and a 1-0 victory over Plymouth side Marjons.
Kelly Godfrey scored in the 2-0 semi-final win over Highbridge and twice more in the final victory against Penzance.
The squad competes in the Southam United six-a-side tournament on Sunday, June 9.
