A BROMSGROVE snooker player is hoping to make it third time lucky after reaching the final of a county tournament.
Kevin Ellis, of Millfield, has won through to the Worcestershire Inter-League final following his 3-1 defeat of Neil Rollinson.
Ellis, who has a highest break of 133 in practise, has been in the final twice before, in 1997 and 2000, but has yet to win.
He said: "Everyone keeps saying it will be third time lucky.
"I am playing better now although I hardly practise and I have had a good season."
Ellis now meets 15-year-old Lee Paige, of Kidderminster, on Wednesday, June 12 at Redditch Liberal Club (8pm).
