DROITWICH Spa golfer John Bickerton (left) has continued his impressive run of form on the PGA European Tour after finishing 19th in the last two events.
Bickerton, aged 33, came home in 19th place, nine under par, at the Victor Chandler British Masters at Woburn on Sunday.
Thirteen shots behind winner Justin Rose, Bickerton collected just over 23,000 Euros and finished one shot behind 1999 Open winner Paul Lawrie.
He came home in six under par at the Volvo PGA Championship at Wentworth on Sunday, May 26, picking up 35,000 Euros.
And Bickerton's steady progress also saw him record a six under par at the Deutsche Bank Open in St Leon-Rot earlier in May, an event won by Tiger Woods.
John, currently 41st on the Volvo Order of Merit after 14 tournaments, enjoyed his best season in 1999 when he finished 20th on the Volvo Order of Merit.
That year also saw him seal eight top ten finishes and lose a play-off for the Portuguese Algarve Open.
In 2001, he finished second in the Madeira Island Open, equalling his best performance to date on the tour.
Tomorrow (Thursday) Bickerton starts out in the Compass Group English Open at Marriott Forest of Arden.
