EASTNOR Castle will host its third Woodland festival this weekend.
The event, due to take place on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9, between 11am and 5pm, will be held in the grounds of the castle, near Ledbury.
This year's event will play host to the Heavy Horse Loggers UK Championships, and visitors will be able to see tree-felling demonstrations and the heavy horses extracting timber from the woodland.
Arboretum
On Saturday, Eastnor's new tree trail will be open for the first time, with guided tours of the arboretum, which contains some of the most spectacular trees in Europe.
Local photographer and tree expert Archie Mills will conduct the tours.
For children, there will be woodland storytellers and they can even have their face painted in the style of woodland creatures.
There will also be free horse and carriage rides in the castle grounds, plus a pig roast, and a bar selling local beers and ciders.
Entrance to the Woodland Festival is £3.50 for adults, £2.75 for senior citizens and £2 for children.
