TOWN residents are being urged to join in the fun this month when the district council launches its Travel Challenge.
The Wychavon District Council scheme challenges people who live or work in the district to use four different types of transport to get to and from work.
To qualify you must be over 16-years-old and travel more than one mile to get to work, school or college. People taking on the challenge also have to write a diary of their travel experiences and can be, but don't have to be, sponsored with all money raised going to Cancer Research UK.
A whole host of prizes are on offer for participants including £100, a year's free membership of the Wychavon Leisure Centre and a day in the spa for two at the Lygon Arms, Broadway.
If you would like to take part in the challenge you can get your entry pack by ringing 01386 565233 or e-mailing travelchallenge@wychavon.gov.uk
