AN ANDY Ducros strike gave Harriers a 1-0 victory in their first Avon Insurance League Division Two home game yesterday.
Supplied by substitute Matt Reeves, Ducros beat Hartlepool keeper Martin Hollund to give the Aggborough men the points.
With Drewe Broughton standing in at centre-half, Harriers had a slightly makeshift look about the line-up.
But a good run from skipper Broughton gave Ducros a chance earlier in the second half only for Hollund to save.
Ian Foster struck another effort at the Hartlepool keeper.
Harriers gave a run-out to trialist defender Andrew Stanford.
Team: Murphy, Faulds, Stanford, Doyle, Broughton, Sall, Corbett, Foster, Lewis (Reeves 64), Ducros, Jackson (Yates 64). Sub not used: Barnett.
