RICHIE Appleby is now set to complete his move to Hull City when his Harriers contract expires on June 30.
Appleby admitted he had been offered a lucrative deal at Harriers but insisted his departure was more to do with ambition.
Appleby said: "That's not to say Kidderminster don't have ambition, it's just I would like to play in front of 15,000 to 20,000 people every week to see if I could cope in that environment and with that pressure.
"The support of the fans at Kidderminstermade my decision a lot harder. Apart from my early days at Swansea, I have never felt so comfortable at a club before.
"The fans have been great to me since I've been here and I hope they continue to support the club the way they have supported me."
