PATIENTS and carers in Worcestershire are being invited to join an innovative project which will give them a chance to have a say on hospital services across the county.

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is setting up a Patients' Forum as part of the ongoing efforts to make services at its hospitals at Worcester, Redditch or Kidderminster more patient-centred.

The Patients' Forum will have around 10 patient representatives, with additional members from other established organisations for patients and carers. Meeting monthly.

Stephen Onions, the Trust's Patients Services manager, said: "We are looking for people who can make a constructive contribution to discussions about how acute hospital services are provided to the people of Worcestershire."

Anyone interested in applying to become a member of the Patients' Forum should send a copy of their CV and a brief covering letter to Stephen Onions, Patient Services Manager, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Management Centre, Charles Hasting Way, Worcester WR5 1HN.
