A MAN is making a third attempt to be allowed to build a detached house and garage in the garden of a bungalow in The Sands, Broadway.
Two applications to Wychavon District Council by Simon Holloway, of Church Lench, have been refused, and now he has appealed to the Planning Inspectorate.
The council's grounds of refusal were that the site was not big enough, resulting in a cramped form of development, out of character and likely to overlook neighbouring gardens.
The agent for Mr Holloway, Ward & Dale Smith, says the appeal site is within the defined Local Plan boundary where infillings and minor consolidation was in principle permitted, and the plans conform with policies.
