THE man killed in a car crash on a Worcester road over the weekend has been named by police.
Twenty-seven-year-old William Morrison, of Waseley Close, St Peter's, died after the car he was driving collided with a traffic island, post box and telephone box.
The crash happened around 2.20am on Saturday, May 25, in Bath Road, near to the Norton Road junction.
The road was closed for two hours while the wreckage was cleared.
Worcester police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident, or who saw the car beforehand, to call them on 01905 723888 quoting reference c/589525.
