NEIL Mason and Jon Higgins will be unavailable for tomorrow's Midlands County Sevens Championship despite being named in a 12-man squad.
The Worcester Rugby Club duo are nursing injuries and will not be able to play in the regional round at Stourbridge (12 noon).
Seven Sixways players were initially named in the side after a trial earlier this week.
Mason, Higgins, Chris Wilkes, Tom Richardson and Pete Knight were the players either in or on the fringes of Worcester's first-team squad. Malvern's Gareth Richards, Rob Young and George Blakeway were also named in the squad.
The winners will progress to the national play-offs at Twickenham on June 1.
Midlands squad: Richardson, Wilkes, Knight, Edwards, Tyrie (all Worcester), Richards, Young, Blakeway, (all Malvern), Pimlow, Daws.
