HALF centuries from Kadeer Ali, Gareth Batty and Paul Pollard helped Worcestershire secure a 172-run win over University College Worcester in a 50-over friendly at New Road yesterday.
Kadeer led the way with 96, while Batty made 61 and Pollard was undefeated on 59.
Their efforts boosted the County to a total of 285-4 before four bowlers took two wickets each to dismiss UCW for 113 off 34 overs.
