AN organ player is giving concert-goers an event to remember with big screen entertainment in Worcester.
Keith Hearnshaw, who will play at St Martin's Church, London Road, on Saturday, May 25, believes that organ concerts can be fun.
He chooses his programmes to bring new and regular listeners to the organ, ensuring that organ music lives on. He has held organist posts at the imposing Lincoln Cathedral and also in the Gothic splendour of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
Keith is no stranger to the world of professional organ playing. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists and an Associate of the Royal College of Music.
For his concerts, Keith uses a large screen video projection so that his audience can see what he is doing at the console.
The programme at St Martin's will include the Prelude and Fugue in D by Bach, Elgar's Nimrod and Pomp and Circumstance No 1, and Stars and Stripes Forever by Sousa.
Tickets are £5 (under 16s free), available on the door. The concert starts at 7.30pm.
