A WOMAN was physically and verbally abused by a man outside a Hereford pub.
The woman was in the car park of the Gamecock pub on Holme Lacy Road at around 9am on Sunday, May 5, when the man started abusing and assaulting her near a couple of parked vehicles.
Police are trying to trace a woman who may have witnessed the assault as she waited at a nearby bus stop.
A one point the woman turned to the man and said several words to him, in particular, to leave the victim alone.
She is then believed to have boarded a Hopper bus travelling towards the city centre.
Other witnesses, who may have thought the exchange was just a heated argument, are also asked to come forward.
