SPACE funk band Kava Kava bring their soul and grooves to the Marr's Bar, Worcester tomorrow night (Saturday).
The band has enjoyed a musical career which has already seen it playing at venues across Europe. Admission to its gig at the Pierpoint Street venue is £5 on the door.
The following day (Sunday), French-born and Portsmouth-based Claude Bourbon brings his acoustic covers to the stage, while on Tuesday (May 28) the first quarter final of the 'Battle of the Bands' gets under way, featuring the final eight bands in the competition battling it out.
The self-proclaimed saviours of rock n' roll, Goldblade, will be crashing into the city on Thursday, May 30. Led by music journalist John Robb, the band will be promoting its new album Do You Believe In The Power Of Rock 'n' Roll, and will be supported by Bring Out The Freaks and Strawberry Blondes. Entry is £4 in advance or £5 on the door.
