FREE Jazz outfit The Pyramid Quartet will be performing at The Great Malvern Club in Church Street next weekend.
The group's music echoes that of Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane, and is characterised by a religious Eastern feel, concentrating on transendental textures, backed by a rhythm section influenced by Ray Manzarek and John Densmore (The Doors).
The group previously appeared at the Malvern May Day event in Priory Park. They will be supported by Astral Sounds and Out of the Ark Sound System.
The gig starts at 8pm on Saturday, June 1 and entry is £4 on the door.
