I HAVE known Ledbury since early 1930's when I was at Ledbury Grammar School, then afterwards when Ledbury was main shopping and business town for us. One could drive into Ledbury for urgent items or business and park where you wanted to, but now unless you are in town before 10am there's no spaces anywhere.
The council seem hell bent on allowing every available site to be built on and no extra parking. Very often I have been asked by a tour bus driver where can he park while his passengers have a look round and coffee.
When the New Mills land became available, why didn't the council try to get the fire and ambulance station moved and make that site into parking spaces?
