TO celebrate its return to the racetrack with the Aero 8 GTN, the Morgan Motor Company is hand-building 80 replicas of its classic 1962 race winners, the Plus 8 and 4/4 sports cars.
Designed as a tribute to the TOK 258 - the 1962 two-litre, class-winning Morgan Plus Four - the Le Mans '62 editions will include a host of unique features that recall the pioneering spirit of motor racing.
The special commemorative editions will be built in the Malvern Link factory and individually numbered.
Following recent investments in manufacturing, the waiting time for the models will only be 18 months.
The Le Mans '62 will also feature a specially-developed hard top, a racing green finish and racing trim through- out.
