UPTON Motosports members have been enjoying a winning streak with Simon Lane, Mark Bayliss, Lee Barter, Nathan Windley, Paul Bennett and Stuart Dudfield all collecting first places in the Wessex Centre meetings over April and May.

Stuart Dudfield who last rode back in the 80s made a comeback this year and has shown the younger riders that age is no barrier in motocross.

Simon Lane, the club's top international rider, is contesting the IMBA international series and had a disappointing start in Germany but came away with a creditable sixth place in Belgium the home of European motocross.

The Club is staging two meetings on June 9 and July 21 at a new track near Longdon which with its natural terrain will provide a substantial challenge. A raffle will be held with all proceeds split between the Longdon village hall fund and Upton surgery.

Plans are already underway for the final British Championship round which the club will stage in September at Bromsberrow.
