MALVERN Junior Hockey Club, resplendent in the new npower sponsored kit, played Bromsgrove U13s and U10s at the Chase, Malvern recently.
The U13s held Bromsgrove to a superb 3-3 draw, both teams demonstrating skill and tenacity in an enthralling match. Goal scorers were Gerwyn Legg (2) and Michael Braim (1).
The U10s demonstrated that they have come on in leaps and bounds this season. Despite defending brilliantly against a much older Bromsgrove team the Malvern players, the youngest of whom was aged five, quickly went 3-0 down.
