HIGH breaks dominated the Malvern & District Snooker League's scratch final between Steve Boswell of Town B and Jon Lewis of Willie Thorne E.
Both players produced a fine display of attacking snooker and with a break of 51 and a 46 clearance Steve took the first frame comfortably.
Undaunted, Jon fought back to take the second frame with a 45 break and then produced a 43 break in the deciding frame to win the match 2-1, even though Steve had also made a 22 break in the final frame.
Result: Jon Lewis 2, Steve Boswell 1. 4-104 (51, 46cl); 62 (45)-20; 64 (43)-45 (22).
