MALVERN artist Beth Barnes will be exhibiting a selection of her work in Birmingham next month.
Mrs Barnes, a member of the Malvern Art Club, has created 24 pieces of floral interpretation to be shown at The Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glass Houses in Edgbaston.
She will also be exhibiting at the Three Local Ladies Exhibition at the Sir Barry Jackson Rooms, Malvern in August.
Mrs Barnes is currently working towards the Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal, painting studies of the rare Hippeastrum.
More work from members of Malvern Art Club will be on show at the Sir Barry Jackson Rooms during the first week of June.
All the exhibits will be entries in the Starting Point competition, to create a work inspired by a small picture of an orchestra. The exhibition runs from Saturday, June 1, to Saturday, June 8, and is open from 10am to 4pm. The winner will be decided at the club's annual general meeting on Friday, June 7.
