THE Castlemorton Common Association Jubilee celebration shindig will be held in Golden Valley, Castlemorton on Saturday, June 1.
A gymkhana for local children will take place in the afternoon starting at 2pm. This will be followed by a dog show with several classes and is open to adult and children handlers. There is no entry fee for either event and there are trophies and rosettes to be won, including the Geoff Leake Memorial Trophy. There will also be activities for children without ponies or dogs so there is something for everyone.
After a short breather the evening celebrations will start at 8pm. There will be marquees for the bar and shelter in the unlikely and unthinkable event of rain. Come and enjoy the pig roast and music by resident virtuoso Med Snookes and his Good Scratch, make this event the start of your Golden Jubilee celebration weekend.
All profits will be donated to St Gregory's Church, Castlemorton, for the bell fund.
