KIDDERMINSTER carnival organisers are celebrating after winning a Lottery grant.
The Awards For All programme, set up to help community projects, has given this year's event £3,445 towards the cost of the event.
The carnival is being held on Saturday, June 22, and will boast a variety of stalls and a street parade.
Since the event was first held 10 years ago, organisers have donated £30,000 to charity.
This year's charities are Wyre Forest Headway and the Friends Youth Club for autistic children.
