IN response to a refusal by the Royal Bank of Scotland to open an account for the Bicester Action Group who are campaigning against the opening of a centre for asylum seekers in Oxfordshire, I am closing my accounts with the bank.

I feel that such organisations are out of touch with local rural feelings and aspirations and are anxious only to 'tread' the 'official line' and disregard local 'heart-felt' concerns which are patently widened in rural Worcestershire.
