Junior and Intermediate AC

EVESHAM Juniors travelled to Norfolk last Saturday to contest the British Youth Pole Championships at Dents Farm.

The youngsters finished a creditable second out of the ten competing teams.

Mark Rogers (14.04kg) fished in the A Section, Andy Collins (6.86) the B, Andy Beasley (5.05) the C Section with Jon Baguley (3.15) making up the team and contesting for D Section honours.

Their next outing is to Willow Farm Fishery on Sunday, draw at 9am.

Wooffs

SUNDAY'S match produced good bags of silver fish and was won by Luke Harrison with a weight of 16.2.

Neil Hards was a close second with a net of 16.0 with Ian Haynes in third with a weight of 13.11 that included two carp.

The final closed match takes place on Sunday and is an invitation only contest and £100 added.

Evesham and District Disabled AC &Partnerships

MEMBERS visited Broad-acres on Sunday when they were made to fight hard to land fish of any size.

Fishing the smaller of the main lakes, Roy Thomson managed to dig out 2.14.0 of tench and silver fish.

Close behind was Wayne Panting with 1.6.0 and in third was Duncan Lamb who worried the scales with 0.8.0!

This week's fixture has been changed from the Canal to Lemington Lakes. Members are asked to meet at the lakeside for the draw at 8am.

Evesham Jubilee AS

JAMES Blanch came out on top when society members fished the Jubilee Fishery.

The winner netted carp using pole tactics to maggot bait on what proved an enjoyable morning's fishing.

The next match is on Sunday with the draw at 7.45am at the Fishery.

Tunnel Barn Farm

ALL pools are now producing big weights now that the water has warmed up with barble, carp and big bream all taking to the nets.

Pleasure anglers have taken between 40 and 50lb bags on House One, while the Top Pool saw half-a-dozen carp in excess of 20lbs taken from the water.
