PERSHORE Rugby Club hosted its 40th anniversary dinner with Fergus Slattery the celebrated speaker.
Past players from the last four decades came together to celebrate the times that they shared at the club.
Players came from as far away as Hong Kong, Spain and America for the occasion and renewed old acquaintances.
It was a marvellous occasion and much was said of Pershore's great camaraderie and that it was very much a members' club.
Past England Under-19s captain and ex-Pershore player, Daryl Jelinek, gave the club his Australian Under-19s shirt as a momento of the occasion.
The Player of the Year award went to Sid Hirons, Club Person of the Year was Emma Wilesmith while the RFU awarded ties to Fred Cooper, Russell Humphries, Ian Judd and Hugh Gibbons for their services to the game.
