BIDFORD NEWS: The monthly meeting of the Community Group was held at the Methodist Hall on Tuesday, May 7 among the items discussed were the success of the Jolly Teapot the Jubilee Celebrations and a proposed visit to the Black Country Museum. It was also proposed to organise a Scarecrow weekend next year.
Louise Darby opened her studio and lovely garden at Red Hill Barn recently to promote her beautiful ceramics together with Jenny Crisps willow baskets and Ray Key's wood turning, a must for the connoisseur the next one is in November.
At St Laurence's church on Saturday, May 11 Sorted, the Christian Youth Service for the Deanery of Alcester held a concert together with the group Formula 7 singing their own compositions. The concert was entitled Sorted on Fire and was free to the public.
