ENVIRONMENT Agency bosses will be on hand to guide Bewdley residents on a tour of a multi-million pound project to install flood barriers along the River Severn next week.
Project manager Roger Prestwood will show people around the Severnside North works from 6.30pm on Thursday, May 30.
Anyone interested in learning about the project to install the foundations for removable flood barriers should turn up at the Dog Lane car park for the tour, which will last about an hour.
The public meeting will continue at Bewdley Baptist Church in High Street at about 7.30pm, when the agency will give a presentation on the second phase of the project for Severnside South, due to begin later this year.
Severn Trent Water representatives will also explain work on the sewerage system, which is needed as part of the project.
More information is available by calling Bewdley Residents' Flood Committee chairman Peter Barnett on 01299 400484.
