FORMER Arsenal stars and other sporting and entertainment celebrities will take on a Banbury and District Veterans League representative side at Chi-pping Norton FC on Sun-day, June 2

The action is set to get under way at 3pm when the following players have been entrusted with upholding local pride.

The squad, managed by Wychwood's Kevin Cheese-man, comprises Duggan, Jelfs, Clark, Jeffries, Olujabi (Hook Norton), Hamilton, Danks (Shipston), Currie, Wallington, N Drinkwater, P Drinkwater, Hillier (Wych-wood), Dore, Hannon (Cart-erton), Hall, Clark (Camp- den), Heath, Watson (Chipp-ing Norton).

All monies raised on the day will be donated to Penhurst School.

Wychwood, West Witney, Bourton Rovers, Brize Norton and Spartan Rangers contested the Jack Powell Shield at Chippy's ground last Wed-nesday and it was Rangers who emerged victorious.

Bourton and Brize Norton proved the toughest obstacles on an enjoyable evening bit it was unbeaten Spartan who lifted the silverware.
